Carl Zeiss Apo Tessar 300mm F9
€50.00 EUR
This
is rather a project lens or for someone who needs a small/compact field work lens.
It was made by the famous german lens maker: Carl Zeiss in Jena. This specimen features a focal lenght of 300mm (or 12") at a max. aperture of
F9. The image circle is large enaugh to easily do some 8x10 work.
The
condition of the lens is, lets say, ok. The black laquere shows minimal
wear, but is also in an authentic condition (considering its
age). The glass is fine, not perfect, but overall clear. The sad part is that the aperture was removed at some point. I also recieved it in plastic bag (see last picture). Im not sure if all the aperture blades are there, but i think even if one or two are missing/broken, the aperture should do its work.
The lens comes with a fitting flange.
