German 13x18 or 5x7 Large Format Field Camera

€80.00 EUR

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.
History: An early 13x18 field camera, that was made in Germany somewhere between 1890 and 1900. The attached plate reads:

'Norddeutsches Versandhaus Hamburg - Friedo Wiesenhavern - Hamburg. Kl. Bäckerstr. 11'

Wiesenhavern was known for beeing one of the larger suppliers in northern Germany in that time. He offered field cameras aswell as lenses (which more likely were rebranded).

Condition: The condition is rather ok for its age. It features the typical 3 position setup with a fine focus rail in the rear. The bellows are quite nice, and made from red leather. I think they should be lighttight, sine i dont see any pinholes, but i wouldnt guarantee it. There is also a front mount shutter attached to the lensboard. Also that looks ok, but i wouldnt guarantee either if it works properly or not.

Sold as a restoration project or possible decoration. There are no plateholders included.
