History: If you ask seasoned shooters what favourite lens they would name, many would say a Heliar. Those are masterpieces of german optical design and famous in the Large format community for their smooth portrait rendering and absolute stunning bokeh. Just google up the internet for sample images shot with Heliars.


Condition: The metall is in a nice condition, there is almost no wear to the housing and the black laquere looks good too. The glass shows only minimal wear, the usually cleaning marks, but nothing beside that would affect the image quality. The aperture is working smoothly.


The lens has a focal lenght of 240mm at a speed of F4.5. It will works best with 5x7  and fullplate formats.
