8x10 Field Camera 18x24 + 2 fitting 18x24 Plateholders

€400.00 EUR

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.

Condition: This wooden field camera comes in quite a good condition for beeing about 100 years old. The red laquere is mostly intact and the nickel plated brass parts also dont need any polishing. This specimen is a good example for a well made field camera from the time around 1900ies. Sadly the maker plate is missing here, but it was definetly not the least expensive modell. It shows a very well made body and quite some brass parts which are nickel plated (a quite expensive proccess back then).

The camera comes with double extension which extends up to aprox. 55cm and a rotating back which can be used either in portrait or landscape more. The bellows are original and look lighttight and flexible, but no guarantee on those though.

The camera comes with two authentic and fitting 18x24 dryplate plateholders, which can easily be modyfied to use for wetplates.

The front offers rise&fall, while the rear offers swing movements.
