This is a very massive and impressive lens made by one of the most reknowed german lens makers: C. Goerz. This specimen features an impressive focal lenght of 1200mm (or 47.5") at a max. aperture of F15. The image circle of this beast is gigantic, over 2m wide open, maybe more if stopped down. It will work very well for Ultra Large Format projects with formats up to 80"x80" and larger! You might even shoot a 1:1 body portrait.

The apochromatic lens design offered the very best optically corrected images that one can image. And that all over the image field, not only center.

But the most interesting part about this specimen, is the fact that it comes in a working Ilex Universal No 5 shutter, which makes it even possible to use the lens with film!

The condition of the lens is quite good. The black laquere shows only minimal wear. The most important thing: the glass is in a really good condition, i cant spot anything wrong there besides some cleaning marks here and there, its absolutely clear. The shutter also features an aperture which is working. The shutter is working, the times sound correct.

The lens comes with a fitting flange.
