History: This nice petzval lens comes from one of the most renowed optical maker in the US, especially in the later part of the photographic era: Bausch & Lomb.

The interesting part here is the focal lenght which is about 250mm (or 10"), its a rather uncommon size and will work nicely for the fullplate format or 8x10 with as much petzval swirls as you can handle.

Condition: This brass beauty comes in a near mint condition. The brass looks really nice and shows only minor wear, the inner barell is coated with Nickel which is probably the best way to protect it from oxidation. The rack & pinion mechanism is complete and still workingsmoothly. The glass is in a really good condition also, very minimal cleaning marks, besides that there is no haze, fungus or seperation visible.

It comes with a fitting flangeand brass lenscap.
