This is a very impressive lens made by one of the most reknowed german lens makers: Carl Zeiss Jena. This specimen features an impressive focal lenght of 1200mm (or 46") at a max. aperture of F11. The image circle of this beast is gigantic, about 1.6m wide open, more if stopped down. It will work very well for Ultra Large Format projects with formats up to 80"x80" and larger!

The apochromatic lens design offered the very best optically corrected images that one can image. And that all over the image field, not only center.


The condition of the lens is quite good.  Everything loooks good and the iris aperture also works perfectly. The only blemish is that the front shows quite some cleaning marks and scratches. Since its more then the usuall, it might affect the image to some degree. That is why i will sell the lens only for a fraction of its real price.

The lens comes with a fitting flange.
