Here is something that nobody should miss in his wetplate studio, a well made drying rack that is sturdy to hold even large plates. This specimen was in my possesion for many years now, as a back up. The only reason i selling this here (and i think the price is more then reasonable) is because i own two of them. And even though its always good to have a backup, its been not in action since my first rack still does work perfectly for the last five years.

This rack is a reproduction of probably the best drying racks you can get out there, the Century studio drying rack.  The outer parts are super sturdy cast iron, which is also laquered with a moisture resistant paint. The middle bars are made of solid wood (i think its oak), which again is painted to be even more resistant.

The middle bars offer two positions (you can unscrew them and screw into the second position). This way they can be used from 4x5 up to 14x17 plates easily. At least thats the maximum i did use them for.
