History: This is a quite rare Dallmeyer portrait lens. The Dallmeyer portrait Anastigmat shares the same optical layout and quality as the famous Taylor Hobson Knuckler lenses. There is almost no documentation about this rare bird, so im not sure if it was a cooperation between Dallmeyer and TTH or more of a rival product, but i would tend for the first one. One thing that is sure is that only very few of those exist. In the last 5 years i saw less then a handfull of those on the global market, and this is my first one ever having it in my own hands.

With its 250mm (or 10") the lens will cover 5x7 and even close range 8x10 formats. The F4.5 will give you a nice shallow DOF for any portraiture work.

A truly amazing and rare lens.

Condition: The condition of the lens is worth of a colleciton. The black laquere shows only minimal to no wear. The lens comes with a working iris aperture which moves smoothly from F4.5 - F32.

The lens comes with its a fittingretaining ring which also can be used as a flange.
