Darlot Hémisphérique No. 3 - 130mm F22

€450.00 EUR

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.
History: The Darlot Hemispherique lens was designed as succesor to the Harrisons Globe lens (also Panthoskop). It was introduced in 1866 and did its job with great success. The built in three lever aperture and the compact design made it one of the best, if not the best wide angle landscape lenses in the history.

The No 3 of the series offers a focal lenght of 130mm (5") and an imaging angle of about 90°. It will work best for landscape and arrchitectural work with 5x7 and 8x10 formats.

Condition: This specimen comes in a nice and authentic condition. The brass still shows the nice and warm patina of time passed. The glass is mostly in good condition also, there are a small patch of seperation at the edge in the front and minimal cleaning marks. Both wont affect the image at all.

Lens comes with the original flange and leather lenscap!
