Derogy 'Objectif de Pullingy' 450mm Pictorial lens
€800.00 EUR
History: A quite interesting lens made by Derogy which is rarily seen on the market today. The Objectif de Pulligny layout features two meniscus lenses opposite of eachother. The lens was designed by Pulligny & Puyo and offers a pictorealistic image with some nice diffusion to it. The lens also offers a working iris aperture for stopping down and increase the sharpness in the final image (not unlike the Eidoscope, or Verito lenses of that era). It also features a rack&pinion to increase the DOF of the final image by increasing and decreasing the distance between the two optical cells. All in all its a fascinating lens maybe not for photographers who want super sharp portraits, but rather for shooters who like the pictorealistic style.
Condition:
The lens comes in a collectors
condition. The brass parts come unpolished and offer a fine patina, there is
minmal wear here and there but its still a beauty to look upon. The iris aperture moves smoothly. The
glass is in superb condition, i cant even spot cleaning marks here.
It
has a
focal lenght of 450mm at a speed of around F8. It will work best for 8x10 and larger formats (i think up to 11x14).
Lens comes with a flange.
