This is a very massive and impressive lens made by the french company E. Krauss in Paris. This specimen features an impressive focal lenght of about 500mm (or 20") at a max. aperture of F6.3. The image circle of this beast is gigantic and about 60cm in diameter. It will work as a long portrait lens for 8x10 and above, and also as a lens for ultra large formats.


The condition of the lens is quite good. The brass is authentic and shows some wear here and there, but also a nice patina. The glass is in a ok condition, showing some cleaning marks, and air bubbles in the rear. Otherwise the glass is clear and shows no haze and no fungus. The aperture is moving freely from F6.3 up to F45.


The lens comes with a fitting flange and a selfmade lenscap.
