Emil Busch Glaukar 180mm F3.1

€1100.00 EUR

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.

History: The Emil Busch Glaukar is one of the most elusive and rarest pieces of glass onthe market for years now.  Scoring high prices in any auction it was a rare lens by any means back in the early 1900ies as it is now.

The lens which layout is quite unknown (assumed to be a triplet design), offers a wide open aperture of F3.1. The stunning speed and the rarity added quite alot to the mythical character of this lens.

Condition: The lens comes in a collectors condition! The brass shows only minimal wear, if any at all, the aperture moves smoothly, and the rack & pinion is complete. The glass looks good, very clear, with minimal cleaning marks and specs.

With its 180mm  (or 7") it will cover 4x5 and 5x7 formats.

A truly amazing and rare lens.

The lens comes with its original flange and leather lenscap!
