Emil Busch Rapid Aplanat 340mm F8
€250.00 EUR
Here you a very handy lens made by the german company Emil Busch Rathenow. This specimen features
the well known Aplanat layout, which also was marketed under the name
'Rapid Rectilinear'. The focal lenght is 340mm (or 13.4") at a max. aperture of
F8.
The Aplanat is a very well corrected and super sharp lens
design, which was highly praised in the early days of photography.
The
condition of the lens is very good. The brass is authentic and shows
only minimal wear
here and there, but also a fantastic and authentic patina. The glass
is in a good condition, only minimal cleaning marks here. There is no haze and
no fungus. The aperture is complete and moving freely.
The lens comes with a fitting flange.
