Condition: This small Petzval lens comes in a nice and authentic condition. The brass comes unpolished with a warm patina, there is some minmal wear here and there but its still nice to look upon. The rack & pinion is complete and works though at times. The glass is in mostly clear condition, there are some cleaning marks here and there, but there is no haze or anything that would impair the imaging quality here.

The lens comes without an engraving, but that was a normal thing for the early french made lenses, especially the smaller formats.


It has a focal lenght of 180mm at a speed of F4.5. Its a interesting lens, since it comes with a waterhouse slot (not stops included) and the original brass lenscap. I think this fellow will make someone really happy, making 4x5 or tight 5x7 portraits with a hefty petzval punch.


Lens comes with a fitting flange and brass lenscap.
