Here you see a quite compact and handy lens made by the german company C.P. Goerz Berlin: the famous Doppel Anastigmat 'Dagor' lens. This lens was famous for its huge image circle (angle of aprox 88%) and its absolute stunning sharpness. Many companies tried to copy the Doppel Anastigmat layout, thats why Goerz patented the name 'Dagor' for it.

The Doppelanastigmat is a very well corrected and super sharp lens design, which was highly praised in the early days of photography.

The condition of the lens is very good. The black laquere is authentic and shows only minimal wear here and there, but is still there overall. The glass is in a good condition, there are some fine dust specs here and there. There is no haze and no fungus. The aperture is moving freely.

The lens comes in a working ACME Synchro shutter, which seems to work. The times sound approriate (though i didnt test them). The Bulb function works with the T setting, though im unfamiliar with this kind of shutter, so im not sure if im not missing something.

The lens was advertised for 5x7 field work, where it was used as a slightly wide angle landscape lens, but it will also work for 8x10 and up to 10x12 formats as a true wide angle lens.
