Hermagis Grand Angles No 5 - 220mm F14
History: The Hermagis workshop was founded 1845 in Paris. The 'Rectilinéaires Grand-Angles' features a similar
layout as Dallmeyers Wide Angle Rectilinear. The lens offers a 72°
angle and thus a very large image circle, while beeing lightweight and absolutely corrected.
This specimen comes with a rotating aperture, which works fine from 2 - 32, where 2 corresponds with F14. The large image circle will work for up to 10x12 formats, maybe even 11x14.
Condition: This impressice piece of brass and glass still looks astonishing today. The brass is very good here, there is minimal to no wear, and it shows its authentic golden patina. The glass is a great condition also, beeing clear and without any damage, haze or fungus.
The lens comes with a fitting flange!
