Hugo Meyer Doppel Anastigmat 'Dagor' 360mm F7.7
€450.00 EUR
Here you see a quite impressive lens made by the german company Hugo Meyer Görlitz: the famous Doppel Anastigmat lens. This specimen features the well known Doppel
Anastigmat layout, which also was marketed by Goerz under the name 'Dagor'. The focal lenght is 360mm (or 14") at a max. aperture of
F7.7. The image circle of this beast is gigantic and almost 50cm in
diameter. It will work as a landscape/still life lens for 8x10 up to 11x14 formats.
The Doppelanastigmat is a very well corrected and super sharp lens
design, which was highly praised in the early days of photography.
The
condition of the lens is quite good. The black laquere is authentic and shows only minimal wear. The glass
is in a good condition, the only visible blamish are some
superfine clening marks on the rear lens that wont affect the image quality
at all. There is no haze and
no fungus. The aperture is moving freely from F7.7 up to F50.
The lens comes with a fitting flange.
