History: The Hugo Meyer workshop is a well known german lens manufacturer who was famous for the 'Schnellarbeiter' portrait petzval series. The Rapid Weitwinkel Aristoscop series is a true wide angle lens series, which still offered a well corrected field of view.

The No. 5 of this series offers a focal lenght of 210mm at an open aperture of F15. It is a super handy and compact lens, it will cover formats up to 8x10.


Condition: This impressice piece of brass and glass still looks very nice today. The brass is very good here, there is minimal to no wear, and it shows its authentic golden patina. The glass is a good condition also, there is some wear in form of cleaning marks and hairline scratches on the rear glass, but that wont affect image quality. There is no haze, speration or fungus. The aperture runs smoothly from F15 to F60.



The lens comes with a fitting flange and the original leather lenscap!
