John Vilt Rapid Rectilinear 250mm F8
History: John Vilt was a camera maker and used lenses made other optical workshops which he rebranded under his name. This RR type lens was probably made by Emil Bush or E. Sutter. Its a nice and handy lens which could be used as a compact field lens (for landscapes, or portraits in bright sunlight), or for still life work.
Condition: The brass looks really good here, there are some signs of wear and patina. It is unpolished and still shows the nice patina of many decades of existance.
With its focal lenght of about 250mm it will cover formats up to 5x7 formats as well as 8x10.
The lens comes with a fitting flange!
