History: This is a good example of the optical masterwork made by the Plaubel company in Germany. The Anticomar features a slightly altered Tessar design, which offers a bit more light sensitivety with F4.2. It offers a nice even fiel of view which is corrected for almost all aberration, but is still slightly curved, offering a more interesting image then the modern Tessar.

Condition: The lens is in a absolute nice condition, there is almost no wear to the housing and the black laquere shows a nice patina. The glass is in good condition also, showing only minor cleaning marks, which wont affect image quality. There are no signs of wear that i can spot there. The aperture runs smooth.

The lens has a focal lenght of 250mm at a speed of F4.2. It will cover 5x7 as a normal focal lenght and up to 8x10 formats as wide angle lens.
