Condition: This quite nice Petzval design lens was probably made by a french maker. The brass comes with a nice condition which shows some wear but also an authentic patina. The rack & pinion is there and worksquite good. The glass is in good condition, there some minor cleaning marks and a couple tiny scratchings, but besides that there is nothing that would impact the imaging quality here.

The most interesting part here is that the lens comes with a workin iris aperture. Something rarely seen, especially in a small petzval lens. This will give you absolute aperture control during your work.

The lens has a focal lenght of 150mm at a speed of F4.5. It will work best as a portrait lens for 4x5 formats with a distinct petzval characteristic on the ground glass.
