Here you see a quite handy lens made by the german Rodenstock München workshop. This specimen features the well known Doppel Anastigmat layout, which also was used by Goerz and other manufacturers of that time. The focal lenght is 180mm (or 7") at a max. aperture of F6.8. It will work as a landscape/still life lens for 4x5 and up to 5x7 formats.

The Doppelanastigmat is a very well corrected and super sharp lens design, which was highly praised in the early days of photography.

The condition of the lens is quite good. The housing is authentic and shows some wear here and there, but also a nice patina. The glass is in a good condition, some fery few cleaning marks that wont affect the image quality at all. There is no haze and no fungus. The aperture is moving freely from F6.8 up to F50.
