Rodenstock Portrait Petzval 260mm F3.5

€800.00 EUR

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.

History: This nice petzval lens comes from one of the early german manufacturers: Rodenstock München. An interesting part here is, that it features a quite uncommen focal lenght of 260mm, which is quite perfect for the fullplate format (petzval wise).

The focal lenght is about 260mm (or 10") and the open aperture is around F3.5. It covers 5x7 and fullplate with a destinctive petzval character in the outer region (especially in the larger format), and also offers a nice and shallow DOF for portraiture work.

The most distinctive feature is the still working iris aperture, which allows you full aperture control. something rather uncommen for petzval lenses.

Condition: This lens comes in a good condition. The brass looks mostly nice and shows only minor wear. The rack & pinion mechanism is complete and still working. The glass is in good condition, there are some cleaning marks, and a minimal edge seperation in the front, besides that there is no haze, fungus visible.

It comes with a flange and is ready to shoot!
