Zeiss Universal Iris Lensholder 80mm
Many antique lenses lack their flange and it is a pain to mount them safely on a lensboard without it. The solution is this nice fellow, which is a very sturdy and tought universal iris lensholder. You mount it to your lensboard then put the lens which you want to use inside, rotate the closure mechanism untill the lens is fixed and tighten the iris on with the other screw. Now your lens is safely mounted within seconds.
Also handy for testing severall lenses in one session. You can switch them without having 10 different lensboards.
The maximum opening is just shy of 80mm, i would guess its about 79-78mm. The minimum opening is about 18mm.
The diameter you will need for mounting this on your lensboard is around 120mm.
A very handy tool that i also use in my studio, which also fit on a Sinar board (or larger).
