very large shutter 77mm (3.1")
When it comes to shutter solutions for big antique brass lenses,
there arent many choices. Here is a fine example of old machinery, a quite large shutter (engraved with S), which is similar to the Zettor shutter i had a while back. It seems the shutter was used behind the lensboard of a studio camera (has two openings for screws). But i can image also using it on front of a lens, if mounted properly, like the Zettor shutters.
The shutter itself is has the outer
dimensions of is 6.3"x6.3" (or 16cm x 16cm). The maximal opening is
around 7.7cm (or 3.1").
The shutter is in working condition as far as i could test it. It offers a bulb but also an instantanious option, like the packard shutter. It even has some contacts for sync on one side, but i didnt test that option.
It comes complete with a rubber tube and pump.
