History: If you ask seasoned shooters what favourite lens they would name, many would say a Heliar. Those are masterpieces of german optical design and famous in the Large format community for their smooth portrait rendering and absolute stunning bokeh. Just google up the internet for sample images shot with Heliar.


Condition: The metall is in a absolute nice condition, there is almost no wear to the housing and the black laquere is in a good condition The glass is in good condition also, light cleaning marks as always, but nothing that would affect image quality here.

The lens has a focal lenght of 150mm at a speed of F4.5. It will works best with 4x5 formats offering some minimal room for movement.
