Berlebach Wooden Studio Tripod
Well made Studio Tripod made by Berlebach probably the early 1920-30ies.
Actually it was my first tripod and i did use it for the first year of my wetplate work.
I did refurbish this one myself about 8 years ago. Since most of those travell style tripods did come with only one movement ability (either tilt, or turn), i did modify this one myself to have both movements. So right now it has up & down (which is operated by a crank on the side), it has turn movement and it has smooth tilt movement (which is operated by the big brass knob).
The big head offers stability even for larger cameras. Backwhen i refurbished my first 12x15 camera i had it mounted it on that one.
A very nice and compact tripod, which wont take as much space as a massive studio stand and even might be used on a trip somewhere.
Since i didnt use it in the last couple of years, im willing to give this gem a new home.
